Coaching Philosophy:

I believe a coach should be an enthusiastic motivator and leader who strives to teach their team to be the best that they can be on and off the field.   A coach is similar to a teacher in that their job is to provide a foundation and learning environment that meets the specific needs of their students.  In the classroom, the teacher acts as a role model while providing a structure for learning academics.  A coach should in the same way provide a basic foundation for learning soccer skills as well as be a model that helps the player learn both the physical and mental aspects of the game.  The role of the coach is to provide the player with opportunities to learn technical and tactical skills as well as the importance of commitment, self-discipline, and a positive attitude.  A coach can teach a player these things, but it is ultimately up to the player to put all of the pieces together both individually and as a team.

As a coach I will expect competitiveness and strong work ethic from all of my players.  A winning attitude with 110% effort will achieve greatness.  You must work to win!  If both the players and the coach share common goals, focus, and determination, the team will be a success.
