FC America Omni U-17 Boys Win the Palm Bay Spring Challenge Tournament

May 7, 2008 ... On May 3rd-4th, 2008 the FC America Omni U-17 Boys won the 11th Annual Palm Bay Spring Challenge held at Palm Bay Regional Park.

The first game was against Jensen Beach Soccer Club and the Omni Boys won 7-1. The second game proved to be the most difficult game against the Kendall Hammocks Lightning and the boys came away with a 1-1 draw.
Our next match was against the home team, the Palm Bay Fire and the Omni had to win by a shutout in order for us to advance, and they were up for the challenge and won 3-0. This setup the Championship Game against the Oldsmar Outlaws, and again the Omni was not going to be denied, winning the match and championship, 3-1.

Overall the team had an outstanding spring season in which it went undefeated in the last 8 games and won 2 tournaments in the process. We would like to recognize the following 16 Omni players, 2 guest FSA players, and 1 guest Orange County player who participated.
