Former FC America Player Graham Zusi named ACC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Graham Zusi was named the ACC Men's Soccer Player of the Week after leading the Terrapins to a 1-0-1 weekend and the tournament title at the Adidas/IU Credit Union Classic. Zusi was named the Offensive MVP at the tournament while being placed on the All-Tournament Team.  

Zusi scored two goals that came on eight total shots in the two games. His goal against No. 7 Indiana on August 31 equalized the score at 1-1, which was the final, and came just 71 seconds after the Hoosiers had taken the lead. His goal against No. 10 Notre Dame proved to be the game-winner in a 3-0 win against the Irish.

Zusi, Maryland's leading scorer in 2006, was last named ACC Player of the Week on September 25 of 2006.

The No. 6 Terps will open its home schedule on Friday, September 7 at 8:00 p.m. when they host No. 20 West Virginia.
