FC America Player Development Program has Great Success During the Fall 2009 Season

December 13,  2009 ... FC America's Player Development Program had much success during the fall 2009 season.

Both U8 girls teams coached by Roy Lakatos and Kareem Hariri went undefeated in league play and continued their development as players and as a team by working together combining their skill and athleticism.

The U9 boys team coached by Declan Link have had a successful season by finishing at the top of their group. Players are now not 'toe-balling' and passing with the side of their feet, and looking for the space and the open player and the general technical skills of the team are significantly enhanced. Everyone has really had a fun time during the Fall season and have starting falling in love with the game!

The U9 boys team coached by Brandon Mahanna, in the FC America developmental program, had a great season! The boys improved with each game and had a winning season with 5 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss. They played in the ACYS league. I know I speak for all the boys and the parents when I say it was a most enjoyable season! The boys had a blast and it speaks volumes when each boy enthusiastically agrees to come back in the spring! Big thanks to Brandon for a great season! Go FC America!
