FC America U-14 Boys to Play in Gothia Cup

May 24, 2004 ... Congratulations to FC America U-14 Boys for raising enough money to travel and participate in the Gothia Cup, Gothenburg Sweden, July 12-17, 2004.  It's the second largest youth soccer tournament in the world. 

The first tournament was played in 1975 with 275 teams.   The tournament has grown to 1,500 teams. 120 countries have been represented and more than 500,000 individuals have participated in the games.  The tournament is open to teams from all over the world wishing to take part in the Gothia Cup, with a maximum of 1,400 teams participating.
