FC America U13 Boys Play Outstanding Soccer in US Club Soccer National Championship

July 31, 2006... On Sunday afternoon, July 30th, the FC America u13 boys played in the final for the US Club Soccer National Championship in the premier division in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The boys played outstanding soccer throughout the tournament winning all three of its pool games and earned the right to play in the final. The boys had many opportunities to score but could not find the back of net as they loss to the California North State Champions Juventus Monarcas 2-0.

During the 2005/2006 season which ended on July 31st, the boys played FC Delco, the number 1 team in the country, CASL Elite, the number 2 team in the country and Juventus Monarcas, the number 3 team in the country.

The team is looking forward to the 2006/2007 season and a chance to play against these teams again. Congratulations to the team and Coach Betsinger for an outstanding season.
