FC America Soccer Academy will be conducting its premier and competitive team tryouts/player search the week of June 12th, 2006. Premier teams are searching for players that demonstrate the skill level, commitment, personality, and desire to play at the highest-level central Florida has to offer. At this level, the combination of these qualities is very unique and reaches beyond just pure skill. Competitive teams are seeking players in search of less commitment wanting sound player development on an organized team in a premier club. Any player that believes he or she can play at these levels should attend our search at the following times and dates below.

Youth Development Program Commitment

To achieve our goals FC America Soccer Academy will make the following commitment to its program for Under 9’s to Under 12’s:

1) Provide a quality playing and training facility that is safe for children
2) Provide experienced, dedicated, highly motivated, and professional staff to guide players and facilitators.
3) Provide an emotionally safe environment for children to learn.
4) Ensure that players are trained in the latest skills and techniques.
5) Provide a coordinated and centralized structure to create continuity in the development of players.
6) We will organize 1 to 3 teams per age group between under 9’s and under 12’s.

The goal is to have 3 teams at U9’s with each one following the same developmental plan. Trained soccer educators would work with all 3 teams. Players would be dual registered and periodically rotate between the teams offering a variety of playing experiences.

All players during the U10, U11, and U12 seasons are trained and prepared for premier level play with those showing early potential playing together on the same team in the Greater Central Florida (GCF) Soccer League Premier Division. The other two teams would play either GCF premier and/or competitive divisions.

During the transition from Under 12’s to Under 13’s the 3 teams would then be combined into 2 teams that play 11 v 11 with one team entering the competitive Region Cup division and the other team competing at the State Cup level.

FC America recognizes that for these goals to be achieved the player must, most importantly, enjoy playing and participating in his/her own development. FC America Soccer Academy is hugely committed to the development of the "whole" player.

Omni / Kumba Youth Development Program
Target Group:
Boys and Girls Competitive and Premier Players Under 9 through Under 12

Purpose:
The Youth Development Program, developed at FC America has a focus that is unique to our club. Our older boy's teams (Omni), and girl's teams (Kumba), have set a standard for soccer synonymous with success and a winning tradition.

This Youth Development Program is designed for younger players making the transition to competitive and premier soccer. It is for parents seeking the highest level of training with a proper perspective on competition WITHOUT sacrificing player development.

Coaches are committed to providing minimum playing time standards for league games while tournaments are geared for success game by game. Players are exposed to an advanced coaching curriculum. Our coaches meet regularly to discuss coaching methods and evaluate players.

Our soccer educators develop each player’s:
• Individual ability to attack with creativity
• To use proper skills to possess the ball in small groups and as a team
• To defend with purpose
• To transition from both attack to defense and defense to attack.

Our goal is to create an environment that nourishes each player's potential and their ability to solve problems within the modern game.
